A new campaign to remember Smat’s water primacy: you can drink it from both the tap of Turin or aboard in the International Space Station.

240 water paintings, over 500 designs and 2 months of work to tell in a 40 second animatic the 164 years of history of Turin water, which has been at the center of the evolution of the city, from the first water system made by Cavour until today. Looking to the future.

Camillo Benso Count of Cavour while he was working to unify Italy founded the Società Acqua Potabili (Drinking Water Company), which would later become Società Metropolitana Acque Torino (SMAT- Turin Metropolitan Water Company). To mark the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Italy’s Unity, SMAT rediscovers with pride its origins and its history, which is also ours.

Thanks to Smat it is now possible to walk in the historic city center of Turin following a particular path, to discover the most beautiful water fountains in the city and its characteristic turèt.

Simonetti Studio realises the pocket map of the path, rich of information and details, using a modern touristic international format.

Between tastings food lovers choose Smat water, environmental partner for the International Taste Festival 2010.
